Steel Pole Structure and Surface Treatment
For a 20m configuration previously discussed with SUNLUX, the proposed construction is a two-section octagonal tapered steel pole with hot-dip galvanizing inside and outside, followed by a painted or powder-coated finish where specified. Project dimensions must be checked against approved engineering drawings before fabrication.
As an example of a specific proposed configuration, not a universal standard, a 20m pole drawing may indicate a 380mm bottom diameter, 180mm top diameter, 8mm lower-section wall thickness, 6mm upper-section wall thickness and a Ø650 × 25mm base flange. The proposed anchor arrangement is 8 × M27 × 2000mm. These are drawing-specific reference dimensions, not guaranteed to satisfy every tender or site condition.
Floodlight Arrangement: 300W and 1000W Project Options
High mast lighting is designed around the required illuminance, uniformity, glare control and operating conditions. Possible project layouts include 12 × 300W LED floodlights or 12 × 1000W LED floodlights, subject to photometric calculations, mounting geometry, wind loading and electrical design. Total luminaire wattage alone cannot establish that a stadium or industrial site will meet its lighting target.

Maintenance Ladder, Platform and Safety Details
Depending on the approved project specification, a 20m high mast may include a fixed access ladder, maintenance platform, protective guardrail, maintenance door, internal cable management, earthing and lightning protection. Requirements for access and fall protection must be assessed against local rules and the installation environment.
Base Plate, Anchor Bolts and Wind Load
Before placing an order, confirm the design wind speed, structural calculations, soil and foundation conditions, flange dimensions, bolt circle, anchor bolt grade and cable-entry position. A pole drawing that differs from the tender BOQ should be treated as a technical deviation and reviewed before approval.
